In 1964, Michael & Jennie Begley decided to take their knowledge as garage door specialists and form ’89’s’. Unaware that this venture would soon grow into Perth’s premier garage door company, the husband and wife team simply named the company after the address of their warehouse, 89 Great Eastern Highway.
Michael & Jennie’s vision was to provide professional, specialist services whilst also staying true to the values they so closely held as a family; professionalism, courtesy and respect. It’s these solid foundations that have allowed the company to blossom into the premier supplier, installer & servicer of garage doors that it is today.
Now, over 50 years later, 89’s is still run by the Begley Family, passed down into the capable hands of Michael & Jennie’s son, Anthony, and his wife Jayne.
Throughout multiple relocations, growth periods and extensions into the more regional areas of WA, the Begley family have continued to provide customer service aligned with the values they were brought up with.
Now, 89’s The Garage Door Specialists offer servicing and installations throughout the entirety of the Perth Metro area. With sister companies, Mandurah Roller Door Centre and Blue Tongue Roller Doors providing even more service offerings throughout Western Australia.
